The Hardest Goodbye!

Phase One: Decision Making

A couple of months ago, I made a decision that would reshape my life. I chose a college far from home for my advanced studies. My family’s visible sadness and anxiety dimmed the excitement of my new learning journey. They urged me to think ahead and worried about the distance and challenges. Though their fears stemmed from love, they cast a heavy shadow over my determination. Yet, amidst their heartfelt and tearful pleas, I knew this path was essential for building my own future.

Phase Two: Hardest Goodbye!

The day to leave finally came, and saying goodbye was tougher than I had imagined. The morning was a whirlwind of packing, each item a reminder of what I was leaving behind. The house was charged with emotion—my parents ensured I had everything, my siblings offered final hugs, and relatives gave last pieces of advice. On the drive to the station, the quiet was only broken by soft words of encouragement. At the station, my family stood together with tear-filled eyes. As the train pulled away, I felt a mix of sadness and resolve. Actually leaving home was incredibly hard, but I understood it was crucial for my future.
